My impressions after using this app are only positive. The interface is intuitive, the recovery capabilities are rather powerful as my deleted videos were restored quickly.
I had some .mpg files on a camcorder (Sony Handycam DCR-SR42) that had disappeared. At first Disk Drill couldn’t see the files. However, the developer personally worked with me and was able to update their program so that it could detect the file!
Disk Drill in my opinion is the best, stable, free disk recovery utility with easy to use features.

Works like a charm! Just a couple clicks and this super simple piece of software recovered and saved lost 400 photos.
