Somehow I corrupted 2 hard disks at once, 6 TB and 14TB. Used the full version, perfect results.

So, yesterday one of my disks decided to die. And this bastard did it! The problem was the data because the disk was my backup for some old but important information. Thanks to the gods for Claude and Disk Drill – I recovered all the important stuff. Now I’m thinking about a proper NAS with RAID because you never know when your backup drive will decide to die

I deleted all the video files from my SD card before I actually had them backed up on my NAS.
Here’s how I recovered them, trying photorec, untrunc, and eventually Disk Drill:
Good news! After messing with photorec, untrunc, various fun ffmpeg incantations, etc… I found a GUI app, “Disk Drill”, that has ‘Advanced Camera Recovery’ and pulled the files right back from the dead.
I was _close_ with the open source utilities, but the app finished it off
RARELY DO I GO OUT OF MY WAY TO WRITE A REVIEW BUT THIS PRODUCT IS A GENUINE LIFESAVER. had an animation that I unknowingly deleted days ago, desperately needed to recover it unless i wanted to spend hours more re-animating. Thanks to Disk Drill i was able to recover the files and the relief I just felt was amazing, thank you so much for being free unlike certain other recovery apps that make you pay rediculous amounts of money to do what Disk Drill does for free.
