I used to use another similar app before. But I will not name it to prevent unwanted advertising. I would probably be an anti-ad because I had to change it to Dist Drill. Although, I was paying that 99$ a month. I used it on my previous Windows laptop. I have Mac now. So, I use the Disk drill application. I have not bought a pro version yet due to my bad experience with another app. However, having a free one is also very helpful. I have a mac operational system. So, there are much fewer problems with it comparing with Windows. I have never lost any files here. But I appreciate the opportunity to preview lost files. It gives confidence in the app I use. So, I know for sure that if I had a pro version, it would be real to recover those files. Anyway, there are some good free additional tools to use.

Ugh. Did something like that a few months ago – inadvertently loading a new version of MacOS onto my external hard drive, thus overwriting everything else. Took hours, but Disk Drill worked to get everything back

I want to share my thought about Disk Drill. There are two versions of this app. The free one allows detecting the lost files. So, at least, I know that it is possible to recover them. If I emergently need them, I can pay for a pro version and do that. But until now I have not had such a need. I also like the additional free tools. There is an ability to monitor potential system issues and do a cleanup to free storage. So, I should say it is quite a helpful application, even if we talk about a free version of it. Anyway, people who write negative reviews should know that you can recover your file only with a pro version. So, you pay 89$ for a lifetime license and get access to all the tools. I got it that way. If I am mistaken, please correct me.

I work as a photographer. I have a lot of photo sessions during the week. After I took photos, I have to upload them to my laptop and edit them. I use a special adapter to upload photos from a camera memory card. Last month Disk Drill saved me and my reputation. So, I decided to write a small review here. I was using this app more for organizing data storage. In a free version, there are some helpful tools. For example, duplicate founder, cleanup, disk monitoring. It helped me to detect potential issues and prevent them. But after I used my memory card with another computer, it caught malware and almost all the photos I’d made were damaged. It said they were RAW files. I could not recover them with a free version of Disk Drill. That is why I had to pay for a pro one. And I got back all the photos.

Honestly, I do not think it is the best application ever. I do not think everybody needs to buy a professional version. But everybody makes his own decision. For me, this application is a great helper. I usually lose some files. I have recently bought a MacBook. So, after lots of years using a windows computer, I am a bit lost in all the processes. I still do not know where some files are stored. Sometimes I delete them by a mistake. So, at the moment I find Dick Drill really useful. I find duplicates with it as well. By the way, I do not have a professional version. I am okay with all those free additional tools it offers. I will think about a pro version later. I can recommend it to everyone who needs to organize and protect his data. You can be sure all your files, photos, videos, and music are protected.

This is one of the most useful applications for sure. I have already used it twice. I have a flash drive where I store some studying materials. Unfortunately, it is quite easy to catch a virus from our university computers. That is what I did. I inserted a card into a classroom computer to show the presentation and it was crashed. The most unpleasant thing was that I had already deleted it from my laptop. My groupmates told me that they use Disk Drill. It is a common situation when students got malware for the university computers. So, my friend helped me to recover the file. He has a professional version of the app. Honestly, I do not think I need to pay for that. If I have problems, I ask him for help. But even a free version is worthy to have. It suggests a lot of functions, too.

I also want to tell you about this application. I bought a professional version last year. I did it just in case. It is great that you can pay once and get a lifetime license. Last week I got into an unpleasant situation. My android phone caught malware that destroyed all the photos and videos. When I was trying to open them, I got a message that those files do not exist. But I could see them in a library. I remembered about Disk Drill. I did not know how to use it properly. So, I visited their website where I found clear instructions. I saw some negative reviews on that. Honestly, I did not understand all those low marks. The application has recovered all the lost files. I uploaded them to the HDD. There are no error messages anymore. What don’t you guys like about that? Before you buy an app, you should read the instruction carefully.

I am here to give thanks to the developers of this application. I’ve read some reviews on it. A lot of people write about their emergency situations. When they lost important files and could recover them with Disk Drill. If I read all those reviews before, I would not believe them. Moreover, I would not think I would ever get into such a situation. But I did. As I do not have big storage on my laptop, I prefer to use HDD. I have all my family photos there. And there are a lot of them. My friend asked me for my HDD. He needed to reinstall his Windows OS. Guess what he did. Right, he put the viruses that damaged half of my photos. I was very angry. That was the situation when your app helped me. I decided to pay for a professional version to get more opportunities. Now I use it to help friends with such unpleasant situations.

Who writes all those negative reviews? Are you all competitors? I’ve been using this application for a while. So, I can say without any doubt that I have never had any problems with it. It works properly. I suppose you can call their support line if you have any troubles with it. When I did not understand how to use it, they sent me clear instructions. I have a bad experience with deleting a very important file. I needed it for my potential job. I’d been working on it for several months. Then my laptop did not deal with a high system load. Windows OS crashed. I was in a panic. Disk Drill saved me and my life. I easily recover that file and did not believe in that. So, I got a paid version and never regret it. Anyway, I paid once and got a lifetime license. I hope I will never use that. But now I am sure I will be able to recover everything I lose.

I want to share my experience after using the Disk Drill application. I work with lots of devices. I use both Mac and Windows laptops. I also store some data on HDD and USB drivers. So, there is a huge amount of files in different formats. Drive Drill is a great helper. It is very easy to search for deleted or crashed files. I can preview them and recover. Sometimes you will be okay with a free version. But I decided to buy a professional one. By the way, I liked that I had to pay for that once. I used to have another application before. So, I paid 99$ every month. I bought the Desk Drill pro version for 89$ and got a lifetime license. Isn’t that better? I prefer saving money. Especially if there are reliable alternative products like that application. So, I am satisfied with it. I do not understand all those negative reviews people write.
