Somehow I corrupted 2 hard disks at once, 6 TB and 14TB. Used the full version, perfect results.

Oops, I did it again…
I deleted all the video files from my SD card before I actually had them backed up on my NAS.
Here’s how I recovered them, trying photorec, untrunc, and eventually Disk Drill:
Good news! After messing with photorec, untrunc, various fun ffmpeg incantations, etc… I found a GUI app, “Disk Drill”, that has ‘Advanced Camera Recovery’ and pulled the files right back from the dead.
I was _close_ with the open source utilities, but the app finished it off
This program is a lifesaver!!!!! I accidentally formatted my SD card and when I was trying all of my SD cards, I was able to view photos from MONTHS before. Ones that I thought were long gone. HIGHLY recommend!!

My husband was trying to move pictures from an SD card to his computer. In the process, something happened to the SD card and became unreadable and stated he had to format it in order to use it again. The issue was, he had over 200 pictures from a home inspection he needed to do his report. I did a quick google search of how to fix the error without formatting and found Disk Drill as a recommendation on Reddit.
I downloaded the free version as I knew it was less than 500 MB and, 30 min later, I was able to recover ALL of his photos to a thumb drive. Disk Drill was an absolute lifesaver! Thank you for offering your services for free! I plan to recommend you to everyone.

I got this a couple years ago… I’d had some files for most of my life, deleted them on purpose but needed them back. I definitely thought I would never see them again. Got them back (and more!), no problem.
