Rather frequently, however, we receive questions from our users on whether Disk Drill can recover a <strong>deleted folder<\/strong> with its&nbsp;structure. <\/p>\n<p>In general you have the two options when recovering deleted data on Mac: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undelete data from a <strong>protected media beforehand<\/strong> with <a href=\"\/help\/recovery-vault-faqs\/\">Recovery Vault<\/a> or\/and <a href=\"\/help\/guaranteed-recovery-faqs\/\">Guaranteed Recovery<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Recover data from unprotected disks using Quick Scan or Deep Scan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/folder-recovery-mac.png\" alt=\"Undelete folder Mac\" title=\"Folder recovery on Mac\" width=\"431\" height=\"116\" class=\"aligncenter size-full colorbox-871\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The first method not only allows you to recover files but also to <strong>restore folders<\/strong> with their full structure and properties. <\/p>\n<p>The second option makes it possible to recover folders using <strong>Quick Scan<\/strong> only in case you have deleted them <strong>just recently<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>So, to recover a folder with its structure and content you may execute Undelete procedure on a protected media or apply a Quick Scan feature.
