If Disk Drill freezes or stops responding on macOS\u2014which is rare\u2014you can gather diagnostic data using OS X\u2019s Sample Process and Spindump tools. These reports help our support team diagnose the issue faster. To generate and send the files for troubleshooting, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Open Activity Monitor<\/b> (Finder \u2192 Applications \u2192 Utilities).\"disk<\/li>\n
  2. Locate and select Disk Drill<\/b> in the Process Name list.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the gear icon<\/b> in the toolbar and choose Sample Process<\/b>. In the window that appears, click Save<\/b>, pick a location, and save the `.sample` report.\"disk<\/li>\n
