Here&#8217;s how to remove session files:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Launch Disk Drill. These steps are the same for both the Windows and macOS versions.<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8220;<b>Data Recovery<\/b>&#8221; section on the left panel, click on the &#8220;<b>Recent Sessions<\/b>&#8221; module.<\/li>\n<li>Select the session file you want to remove and click the Trash icon.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat these steps for any other saved session files you want to delete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"method_2_manually_remove_recovery_sessions_using_finder_or_file_explorer\"><\/span><b>Method 2: Manually Remove Recovery Sessions Using Finder or File Explorer<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In both macOS and Windows, you can access Disk Drill\u2019s application data folder, where all session files are stored. The exact location of this folder differs depending on which operating system you\u2019re using. We\u2019ll walk you through both.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"recovery_sessions_folder_location_in_macos_%f0%9f%8d%8f\"><\/span><b>Recovery Sessions Folder Location in macOS &#x1f34f;<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Like most macOS applications, Disk Drill stores its files in the &#8220;Application Support&#8221; folder. This folder is unique to each user profile.
