I’m using the free version and I’ve done a deep scan. Some files are previewing OK but when I hit recover I get the option for the free version or pro. I select free and then nothing happens?? I’ve tried several times am I missing something?
Also some of my mov files have the quick time symbol and no movie preview…are these files non recoverable?May 15, 2013 at 12:06 am #5097

Deep Scan recovery is only available in Disk Drill paid editions. And that’s exactly what the free-pro screen tells you about. Check it out here: https://www.cleverfiles.com/pro.html

Only correct preview guarantees correct recovery. No preview does not guarantee the recovery will fail. That’s somewhat tricky, but this is what it is.May 15, 2013 at 3:38 am #5098
thanks for the reply this make sense now….the files I need aren’t giving any preview so If im taking a gamble then the guess would be they are unlightly to be able to be recovered? Also i read that if the files are large then its even more lightly they won’t be able to be recovered. One is almost 4GBMay 16, 2013 at 8:19 am #5099
It’s true. The bigger the file the higher the chances are that was originally fragmented. Email us, it seems like we should be able to supply you with a limited activation code for several files to try the recovery.
