Help! I’m new at this. I’m doing the deep scan on a memory card and it seems to have recovered the deleted photos. But what now? I chose the folder where they should be sent, but nothing more happens. The “Done!” sign is not lit up, yet.
Thanks.September 21, 2011 at 3:48 am #4783
Did you hit the “Recover” button after your files were located during scanning?September 21, 2011 at 2:45 pm #4784
I just found out that the free, basic version of Disk Drill only allows you to preview the recovered files (Which doesn’t work for me either. The preview button will not allow me to click.), not place them in a folder. You have to buy the pro version to be able to see the files. Not sure if it’s worth the $89.00 to me.September 23, 2011 at 5:05 am #4787

What do you mean? Have you selected the found file in the scanning results list?March 29, 2012 at 7:34 am #4875
I did a deep scan, found the file I need. Disk Drill will not allow me to chose a folder for the recovered file. When I click on “Choose Folder”, I get the error sound, and nothing happens. However, the Preview function works, and displays the lost file.
How do I convince it to recover the file?March 29, 2012 at 5:20 pm #4876
That’s a very weird bug which we heard of just several times. Can you take a short video of what exactly happens and send it to us (email@example.com)? You can use Jing to record it for instance (it’s free).August 8, 2012 at 11:24 pm #4989
hi there, I have the same issue – is there any update in the meantime? Thanks, TinoDecember 17, 2012 at 11:46 pm #5066
Hi There, Newbie as well. Deep Scan finished and it seemed to work on my crashed 1Tb Seagate hdd (which is now in an external box). DD SHOWS all the files it supposedly recovered BUT now what do I do?. Can’t preview and don’t want to “upgrade” if nothing is to come of this. Please help. I am desperate.December 20, 2012 at 2:45 pm #5069December 20, 2012 at 2:45 pm #5070
If it’s the same bug, then, please, see my request above.
