    Hello,
I just finished recovering just over a TB of data, that was a collection of private data (photos, music, etc) and academic material. When I look at the data, however, it’s organized by type (i.e., “documents,” then “docx”). While I’m very grateful to have the data back, I think it will take me the next 2 years to sort through the data to make it useful enough to have kept. Was there another way of recovering the data?

    Thanks!

Most probably not. If your file system is damaged or lost, the original file structures are no longer available. Disk Drill attempts to recover those, but in most cases, with Deep Scan, they are no longer available.
