It says I need hardware intrusion. I’m thinking this is a specific technique, and not a feature of the Disk drill tool. Here is the specific error code.
“The disk “SABRENT Media” seems to be non-responsive (dead). Unfortunately, you won’t be able to recover any data from it without hardware intrusion. As a quick recommendation, please try to reconnect it to your Mac.”
When disks have physical issues, nor Disk Drill neither other software can access it properly to recover your data, even Disk Utility is probably having hard time with it. Yes, the hardware intrusion in this case requires a data recovery lab, instead of a do-it-yourself software. Thank you for trying though. Sometimes it helps to cool your storage down a bit, and try again.
