Disk Drill copied a large number of files it recovered during a deep scan to another external HD. It now seems to be hung, reporting 0.0%. Because my Audio and Documents folders on the external HD seem well populated, and the video folder seems relatively empty, I think it’s hung on a video file. I’m tempted to cancel, hoping to restart recovery, but I don’t know if I will be actually able to restart recovery. Will I be able to restart recovery where I left off?
If I am able to restart recovery, I’d like to also know if there is some way to know for certain that I can skip certain categories. Is there a way to know the number of files found by Disk Drill in each category?
Yep, we did notice that bug as well. Once in our tests we were able to locate a 16PB file, which was definitely an inexistent entity. My apologies for that, we are working on a fix in the next release.
