My external hard drive (g raid mini) suddenly stopped mounting and wouldn’t recognize anymore the partition. I deep scanned it and in addition to music, videos, etc. folders there is a partition folder with a disk image file. Should I only try to recover this instead of all the other folders? Does this means that I might have an intact copy of my original files and folders?
If a valid lost partition was found during a Deep Scan, it would mounted as a virtual item in the list of available disks in the first screen of Disk Drill. Get back there, and if you see the new virtual partition, quick-scan it, this should bring your original files and folders structure back.
