I am interested in recovering photographs from a 250GB former main hard drive for my MBP.
I accidentally erased the disk using the apple disc utility.
I purchased Disk Drill from apple apps store to try to recover; Mostly interested in RAW image files using .nef for Nikon.
I ran Disk Drill and it did recovery some images, but only a small %, maybe 20%.
Could I recover any more by doing multiple passes?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Did you try all the recovery methods? In your case Quick and Deep Scan may both produce some results. Even 20% recovery is a good result. The success rate depends on a multitude of factors.
