I have two problems
The first is that I get “Activation Failed” when I enter my key
The second, I cannot find any documentation or instructions for this software.
The links provided take me to a tutorial which is actually an advert to buy the software.
Where are the instructions? I tried your on line chat and they’re down for the weekend
I’m sorry to whinge but so far using Disk Drill has been a serious disappointment
Please help me resolve these issues ASAP.

It would really help to know which activation code exactly you are using that fails to be accepted by our activation server. Also, we could not locate your order for Disk Drill PRO or Enterprise by your email address or name. It’s also weird that you are posting on our forums, which are a part of our knowledgebase, which is a help system itself, and has tons of articles and hints on how Disk Drill can be used. Do you have a specific question you are looking to get answered? Also, every “Activation Failed” error has a detailed reply from our activation server that explains what exactly was the cause of the failure, usually it’s either caused by using the code from the previous version of the app, or hitting the limit of allowed activations as to your license.
Please be more specific. We are here to help, but we need details first.

I now emailed it to you

Why would you consider it to be weird to post questions or request help and information on a dedicated forum?
A google search led me to the exact questions that I was asking “why doesn’t my code work and where’s the manual”
I found every link I went to took me to an area that didn’t address my needs
It became extremely circular and frustrating. Every thing I followed took me a download or advertising
I was unable to find a simple “how to” or “getting started” pdf
I spent considerable time googling for information and still could not find what I felt was needed to get started
Normally this sort of document accompanies the product in the down load and / or is accessible under the apps’ “help” drop down
The apps’ video links that I found were all about purchasing, one in particular was a labelled a tutorial and turned out to be an advert which it turns out has been reported to you before.
