Congratulations on what seems to be a really polished product. I have two comments for you.

Most consistently troublesome data recovery problems seem to be for corrupt Time Machine volumes, particularly sparse bundles that won’t mount by any method, won’t allow Disk Utility to create a new image and can’t be recovered with Disk Warrior. Given that other tools often do a reasonable job with mounted volumes, it’s a shame that DiskDrill doesn’t seem to offer anything for unmountable volumes.

The presentation on the website and in the product is beautifully well done, but it’s spoiled in several places by the language used. With good quality editing by a native English speaker, the presentation would be exceptionally good.

Hey, thanks a lot for your feedback! We definitely need to clarify something here.

What exactly is meant by this? Does Disk Utility show you this disk with no partitions? So it’s mountable right?

I didn’t get it. Are you comparing other tools’ functions with _mountable_ disks, and then summarize Disk Drill’s results on _unmountable_ disks? How can you compare that?

Did you try to “show hidden partitions” in Disk Drill? The details are explained in the article in our Knowledgebase. I suspect that all you have to do is show hidden partitions in Disk Drill, then select not partitioned space in the disk you are recovering from and run a deep scan.

We already fixed several issues with grammar in step 6. The upcoming update will include these fixes. Or did you see any inconsistencies in other tutorial steps as well?

    Thanks again!

And one more point: if a disk cannot be mounted, you cannot access it without special equipment, and no software can do that.
