I have a brand new Seagate 2T external Drive for mac (formated with the seagate software)
The drive fall and now it does not shows on the desktop.
I’ve got just once the following message: (unrecognizable Disk, do you want to initialize? or ignore”) I selected IGNORE to be able to run Disk Drill and recover the data.

Drill disk does not shows that drive! I have the free version, I want to know if the paid version may see the drive.

Also I am trying to recover a 4T Western Digital Drive (HATE THEM AND WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER ONE!) and after 4 days of scanning I’ve got a lot of folders with “recoverable” files but after I selected them to be recovered there was nothing in the folders that Disk Drill created! why?
    thank you for any help!

Is the disk visible in Disk Utility?

Were you using the beta version of Disk Drill to scan the drive? Can you rescan it with Disk Drill 1.1 and see how it goes? Do you see found files after scanning in the list of Scanning Results before you hit the Recover button?
