Hi JR. Congrats on the release of 1.1.84. I sent an e-mail to you earlier regarding this, but thought I’d put it on the forum too. Thanks so much for adding the NEF recovery, it worked! Now I’d like to find out if there’s a way to recover PSD files?

Thanks again for your life-saving (file-saving) work!

Hi Roger, I also replied to you via email, and as you know, we are adding new known file types to Disk Drill with every new release, and unfortunately, PSD is not among them yet.

You will need to run Deep Scan again when support for new file types is added. What you can do, if your disk is not too large, you can make a DMG copy of it using Disk Drill. This way you can go on erasing the disk, and utilizing it regularly; while there’s always an image you can scan for lost data whenever the new file signatures are added to Disk Drill.

BTW, we already have a beta version with PSD support.
