1TB Western Digital that my drunk friend dropped, deep scan has found 4 lost partitions, I am trying to Quick Scan the largest 931gb one but has taken over 12 hours so far, 2050000 files found and counting, am I being impatient or should I just let it carry on ? It says ‘this shouldn’t be long’ !

I’m using basic at the moment but will be paying up if this works, looking good until now! Thanks

Try limit the number of file types you are scanning for to only those you need (archives, images, etc). If the number of found files is too big, Disk Drill 1.3 can take longer to finish scanning. Another recommendation would be to try the beta version of Disk Drill 1.4, which I just emailed to you. This beta is likely to become a stable release today.

It worked! Just took a while. Brilliant, brilliant program…well worth the money and thanks so much for having a student discount.
