.mov files not recognized by quicktime

    I have recovered a number of .mov files with Disk Drill Pro. Most play fine. Some that I have recovered, will not play. They have the standard file names like file0000121.mov yet when I go to play the video i get the following message:

    The document “file0000211.mov” could not be opened. The movie’s file format isn’t recognized.

    When I “get info” regarding the file, I see the size of the file which in this case was 237 MB so I know something is there. Any ideas on how to play these files?
