For some reason, Disk Drill reports a perfectly functional 3TB disk (from Toshiba) as ‘dead’ and ‘not partitioned’ while I can read and write to this disk and it seems ‘alive’ in every conceivable way. Apple’s disk utility also finds no problem. What’s going on?

Any details how exactly the disk is being reported as “dead”? Can you attach it, or email a screenshot to us (help@cleverfiles.com)?
