I’m considering purchasing diskdrill, can diskdrill be used to recover a Photoshop Action File?
    They are located likely here:
    /library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS Settings/Actions Palette.psp
If so what options would I need?

Did you try Quick Scan on your main hard drive? Deep Scan won’t be able to reconstruct these files, though we’ll see if they can be added to our database. However, these psp files seem to relate to Photoshop’s application preferences, rather than specific action file.
