Hi, I recently took some images on My Nikon D800 E. The images showed in Lightroom and the source files were saved to Pictures on my hard drive. I accidnetly deleted the source files from Pictures. So I downloaded your software to recover these images. I searched PHOTOS and could see my images in preview. Once I recovered it I saved it to dropbox.
When I try to open my Jpeg and Nef files it reads “File May be damaged or use a file format that preview does not recognize”

Every other image I have deleted is recovered except these source files.
Can you confirm that these source files that were stores under “pictures” on my mac’s hardrive is infact recognised pictures? and why they can’t open.

    Thank you
    Edwina

Dear Edwina, please, resume your last recovery session in Disk Drill, check the preview of these files once again, take a screenshot of how exactly the preview looks. Then you may try to recover these files again, or just send a few samples to us (along with the previously taken screenshots of the preview). We’ll be waiting for the details from you at help@cleverfiles.com
